Feather

Beach Sunrise
One morning at sunrise on the beach of Saltwick Bay I saw this feather poking out of the sand. The tide was coming in and the first wave I saw engulf the feather I noticed it didn't even move. How can that be. For something so delicate and small to withstand the ebbing and flowing of the tide. As it was sunrise and a nice one at that I just got the shot. A slightly long exposure gives movement in the water as it recedes back with the feather parting the water and not even moving an inch.
